Final Blogpost of the year

In this past semester I have learned many things about Blogs thanks to Mrs. Lofton. Last semester we had to turn in a portfolio with all of our paperwork that we had done during that semester, This semester we created a blog using Blogger. Our Blog is like our portfolio for this semester and our posts are like the paperwork for the semester. some of my favorite blog posts was when we had to create a game based on the soccer vocabulary, I really liked this post because I had fun while doing it and it ended up coming out really nice. Another assignment which I really liked was the Voki Project because we got to customize our own avatar along with give it our voice. One thing I found difficult was creating a book review on the book Aura by Carlos Fuentes because it was difficult to find the actual reviews and read them because they were all very long and I had to transfer them to spanish. I believe that I will continue to post things onto my blog in the future, but not as much as I usually do.

El bilingüismo

• I feel that being bilingual has many advantages for example, Being able to learn new words easier, being able to meet new people from different cultural backgrounds, getting better paying jobs , and a better opportunity at getting a job rather than someone who only speaks one language. I feel that being Bilingual has helped me a lot and can only help me more in the future.

           

• Being Bilingual you have many advantages for example, New York Times made an article on the Benefits of being Bilingual and why Bilingual people are smarter than the average one language speaking person. In that article it says that scientists have recently begun to show that the benefits of being Bilingual are even more fundamental than being able to converse with a wider range of people, They said "Being Bilingual, it turns out, makes you smarter." Being Bilingual can have a profound effect on your brain.

• Career options you might be interested in that would be open to you because you are bilingual
• When I go to college I plan on studying Business, once I graduate from studying this, if I speak two languages than I could communicate with more people therefore, they would pick me rather than someone who only speak one language. In business, you have to communicate with a lot of people, therefore it is better to know many languages so that you can communicate with more people and have them buy you're products.
• Share if you speak more than two languages
• Whether you have a desire to learn more languages

        My favorite and most interesting was the review by Gloria B Durá, Second favorite was the overview by Janet Perez because it is not that long and gets to the point, My least favorite was Raphael Comprone`s “A window into another Reality”, The title is very catchy and makes plenty of sense with the book.

Me relaciono con el libro Aura porque yo me he enamorado de una chica igual que Felipe hizo con Aura, pero mi chica es normal ja ja ja. Yo no recomendaría el libro Aura porque se pone un poco confuso a veces, por que salta alrededor demasiado. Sin embargo, si te gusta la brujería entonces yo recomendaría este libro para usted, ya que tiene un montón de brujería en el. Si te gusta leer libros de misterio, entonces este es un buen libro para leer. Felipe es mi personaje favorito porque es muy macho y vivía en una casa de brujería. " Usted está leyendo el anuncio: una oferta como esta no se hace todos los días. Usted lo leyó y releyó ella. Parece estar dirigida a usted y nadie más ". (3)

idioma y prácticas de alfabetización Reflection

A mi no me a gustado leer desde chico. Cuando yo estaba en la primaria yo tenia que leer por 30 minutos pero yo preferiría meterme un balazo por la pata que leer por 30 minutos. Yo pienso que por eso no me gusta leer ahora que estoy grande.

Cuando yo leo aunque sea muy raro yo leo en inglés. Apenas lo entiendo en ingles entonces como voy a leer en espanol? Yo nomas leo cuando tenemos que leer en clase de ingles. Ya hemos leído muchos libros en ingles pero ni uno en espanol. Ahorita estoy leyendo mi primer libro en espanol.

Cuando yo hablo con mis amigos en persona o por telefono yo nomas hablo en inglés. Pero quando hablo con mis papás si las hablo en espanol.

Reflexión

Hola Seguidores! Ojala esten teniendo un buen dia! Tengo tiempo que no he hecho un post entonces voy hacer una reflexión sobre el año pasado y también voy a reflejar sobre los cambios que han ocurrido. En el año pasado no me portaba bien en clase pero ya estoy mejorando mi comportamiento y mis grados han estado mejorando desde que me empecé a portarme bien. Otra cosa que cambió es que ya empeze a jugar béisbol con Mira Costa pero como mis grados no estan buenos no puedo jugar hasta los últimos cuatro juegos de la temporada si mejoro mis grados. Pero desde que empeze a jugar me ha hecho mucho más mejor. Este año más que nada he aprendido que con todas las acciones hai consecuencias. Esta Información me va ayudar en el futuro porque ahora van ha estar mis grados mejores y voy a poder jugar beisbol, y ahora pienso antes de que hago las cosas y mido las consecuencias. Mis metas para el futuro son Jugar para Varsity el año que viene y más para el futuro quiero ir a la universidad y jugar beisbol.
